Layer Descriptions

Layer descriptions are captions about the layers. Not all layers have descriptions. If a description is available for a particular layer it will have an external link image after the layer's label. Click on this image to read a description of what the layer represents and how to best view the layer. In the example below, only the Parcels layer has a description.

Steps for getting a layer's description:

• For the layer you are interested in, click the 'descriptions' image that appears after the layer's label. A description of the layer will be displayed in a modal pop-up box.
